pattern OLV-OK
Oak wall panelling, in random linear pattern
A three-dimensional linear panel in solid oak. Strips of varying width and thickness are bevelled, sanded, and hand-assembled onto a plywood base — stepped in relief so that shadow, rather than colour, carries the pattern.
Six strip widths are randomised across the run, with each piece sitting at a slightly different height from its neighbour. Against oak's lighter, more even tone, the stepped relief reads sharply: crisp shadow lines between strips, a graphic rhythm that shifts as the light moves across the wall through the day.
The result is architectural rather than ornamental. Where a darker timber softens the geometry, oak holds it — a panel that reads as a composed surface at any scale, from a single feature wall to a full-height installation.
Finished in semi-matte hard wax oil. Made to order in our Sutton Coldfield workshop, sold by the square metre. Custom widths, species, and finishes on request.
DIAMENSIONS:
the pattern has six widths of 50, 75, 100, 125, 150 and 200mm, the length is 610 mm (±5). Tiles are made to measure and actual quantities of each size will depend on the installation area and pattern orientation. (widths of the tiles can be customised, please contact us for more information)
