3D Random linear pattern mosaic cladding in black walnut

SKU(Ref) - OLV-W1 

Sculptural mosaic wall tiles for modern interiors. Made from solid walnut strips of random widths and thicknesses. Each peace is bevelled, sanded and assembled on a birch plywood base and finished with durable Osmo Polyx hard wax oil.

OPTIONS:

  1. WALL TILES -  assembled on a 6mm birch plywood strips and ready to be glued to a wall or any other flat surface. Use any type of grab adhesive to glue to any flat surface. Supplied in packs of 1.82 square meters that will cover an area of 0.7 m by 2.6 meters.  (sizes can be customised, please contact us for more information) 
     
    Tile dimensions:  
     six widths of 50, 75, 100, 125, 150 and 200mm totalling to 700mm 
     random lengths (ranging from 200mm to 600mm) totalling to 2.6 metres 

  2. WALL PANEL - Made to measure large wall mountable panels are assembled on a 12 or 15mm thick plywood core. max size 1200 x 600 mm. 

  3. FURNITURE PANEL -  are assembled on a 18/19 millimetre thick plywood or MDF. These panels have walnut veneer on the back side and along the edges for a finished look. Made to measure max size 2400 x 600 mm. 

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Material: random strips of 4 - 15 mm thick solid walnut
  • Element density - 400 per square meter. 
  • Finish: hard wax oil
  • Base: birch plywood 
  • Can be hand or machine cut
ASSEMBLY:

Individual elements have been glued to the plywood base using water-resistant D3 PVA adhesive, suitable for interior areas, including where there is frequent, short term exposure to moisture and high humidity.

At a special request, the tiles can be made suitable for bathroom applications on zones 2 and 3. In this case a D4 PVA will be used which is water and boil proof. In addition substrate plywood is fully sealed and assembled tiles are finished with  3 coats of durable hard wax oil. The substrate  can be upgraded to marine plywood.

    • Wall panel: 15 x 30 cm offcut
