Per M²
The pattern is made by grain. Most elements run along the course; a few sit across it. In even light they share one surface, and the wall reads as calm, coursed walnut in a steady mid-brown. In directional light the cross-grain elements catch it differently and step forward, lighter or darker than their neighbours, so a second pattern appears over the first. Walk past the wall, or change the lighting, and it redraws itself.
The horizontal lines hold the courses in order and add a fine shadow between them, so the surface has depth as well as pattern.
Walnut suits dark-themed interiors, where its tonal depth becomes part of the scheme — hotel corridors, restaurant and bar walls, reception areas, executive offices and libraries. BRL-W works full height or as wainscoting below a dado rail.
